Still life Gallery
Still life is a relatively new and exciting area for me. I set up objects in the studio and paint directly from life.

I experience the changes in light and colour, taking from what I see whatever inspires. One of the delights of painting from life is that the more you look, the more you see, colours reflecting off one object onto another, the light changes, revealing something previously un seen. Gradually the imagination builds up relationships between the objects – hidden meanings can emerge…..
